3.3.1 Majestically position the compressor base on its foundation. Slide wedge-shaped shims underneath to achieve perfect horizontal alignment.
Alternate placement of these precise wedge-shaped irons until the unit is impeccably leveled. Secure them with robust spot welds at 4~5 strategic points.
Craft these wedges to fit your unique installation needs, ensuring a flawless contact surface for even weight distribution.
The plane inclination should support a weight not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect alignment using a highly accurate level. The axial precision should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal precision must be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Precision is key in coupling alignment. Ensure readiness by verifying the following prerequisites:
1) Securely power down the main electrical supply;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Gently remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor's installation plane for cleanliness and free of unwanted materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are suitably larger than the bolts for easy adjustment;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets—flat and free of impurities—for motor foot support. Avoid using unsuitable long or thin gaskets.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, accurate to 0.01mm, as per customer provision;
8) Securely position the dial indicator on a supportive bracket, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to accurately position the dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centers. Limit the outer circle deviation to 0.05mm, keeping the motor shaft slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center.
11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then double-check the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conduct a motor idling test and if successful, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Firmly secure anchor bolts post-adjustment of levelness and alignment. Loosen and re-tighten after mechanical or trial operations for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands pristine conditions. Solid or liquid intrusions can cause severe damage, hence all connected pipelines must be impeccably clean, conforming to steam corrosion standards.It is recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet to prevent contamination.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes, incorporating essential pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline is independently supported to relieve any weight from the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary apparatus is complete and the concrete has reached full solidity, it is time to proceed with the operational test of the Power Frequency Watervapour Compressor with Precision Adjustment Features. This crucial step ensures that each component is perfectly aligned and ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For seamless connectivity, ensure that the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is encased in threading pipe, which should be routed underground for enhanced safety and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect all wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring robust and efficient system communication.
