The fundamental principle involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-energy-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The temperature increase allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and induces evaporation, thereby achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, primarily composed of a robust compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electrical instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance while delivering exceptional performance.
3.3.1 To begin, the compressor base should be meticulously placed on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve an impeccable level, ensuring a seamless installation process.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once you've meticulously leveled the unit, spot weld these wedges at 4-5 strategic points, crafting a secure foundation.
These wedges should be tailored and installed by the user, customized to match the actual conditions perfectly. The contact surfaces must be finely finished, allowing for uniform contact on the inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should capably support no more than 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilizing a precise level, find the perfect horizontality. The unit must meet the following exacting leveling standards: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these standards are meticulously achieved for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Centring the coupling is crucial. Prior to alignment, adhere to these essential prerequisites to guarantee safety and accuracy:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Diligently remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, removing any foreign objects, debris, or unnecessary attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, permitting bolt adjustment for motor alignment;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's base. These should be flat and unblemished, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) For precision, employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a sensitivity of 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Ready the bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's periphery, aligning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to ensure the compressor and motor center lines align precisely, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and achieve a coupling end face tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and diligently verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for optimal alignment.;
12) Post successful motor idling verification, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of casing 'levelness' and alignment, ensure that the anchor bolts are tightly secured. After initial mechanical or trial operation, reassess and retighten these bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed component, and any presence of solid or liquid substances could irrevocably damage the compressor. Thus, it's imperative to confirm that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade prerequisites of the system.To maintain system integrity, it is recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the straight pipe at the compressor's entry point.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with suitable accessories as mapped out in the PI diagram. It’s crucial that the pipeline's weight is independently supported by another bracket, not relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all accompanying equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This stage marks the culmination of meticulous preparation and installation, ensuring everything is primed for the compressor's optimal functionality.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a crucial element of the compressor's infrastructure, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure seamless connectivity by threading the wiring through dedicated underground piping, linking the compressor to its control cabinet. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, it is vital to establish a precise connection between the wiring terminals within the cabinet and the lines directed towards the remote DCS, thereby enabling a robust operational framework.
