3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance and longevity, place the compressor base firmly on the foundation, positioning wedge-shaped shim beneath for precise leveling.
Align two wedge-shaped irons alternately; once leveled, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge must
be custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions for maximum efficiency. Ensure a smooth contact surface
between the inclined planes, with the wedge iron bearing capacity kept under 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect alignment by using a level. The required precision for the unit: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal
level at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before initiating alignment, ensure all of the following crucial prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield to allow for precise calibration;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free of foreign matter, debris, or residue;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing uncomplicated adjustments to the motor's position;
6) Equip with sufficient stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor feet, ensuring they are flat, free of debris, and not elongated or thin.
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (procured by the client);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for placing the dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, ensuring the probe is positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By meticulously adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center line until they are nearly congruent, ensuring the outer circle deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, and the motor shaft center line maintains a higher position than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, followed by a detailed review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section post motor idle test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are satisfactorily adjusted, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post initial mechanical operations, ensure bolts are loosened and retightened for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component; it's imperative to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion that could irreversibly damage the compressor. Therefore, maintaining clean inlet and outlet pipelines that meet the system's steam corrosion grade is crucial. Rectify any pipelines failing to meet these exacting standards. We recommendincorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe segment.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are fitted according to the PI diagram. The pipelines attached to the compressor must be independently supported, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body to preserve its structural integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its auxiliary components, is securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully hardened, you're ready to initiate the compressor operation test.
