3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base on the foundation. To ensure perfect leveling, place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base;
arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is level, securely spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4-5 points. These wedges
should be crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the actual situation. Ensure the contact surface is polished for uniform contact and
ensure the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm2) to guarantee stability.
3.3.2 Utilize a spirit level for precise leveling. Adhere to unit leveling standards: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous alignment. Prior to commencing, verify these essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely shut off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Examine the motor's installation plane flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes to facilitate bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have ample, flat stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's base. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (customer provided) with a 0.01mm accuracy;
8) Prepare the bracket required to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's
outer edge. Adjust motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (motor
shaft should be slightly above compressor's low-speed shaft), and coupling end face deviation is between 0.03~0.05mm. Tighten motor foot bolts,and reassess coupling's outer and end face runout;
12) Following motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once casing level and alignment are perfected, secure anchor bolts tightly. Post-mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten these bolts to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.5 The compressor's impeller is a high-speed component; any solid or liquid intrusion can cause severe damage. Therefore, guarantee cleanliness and compliance with steam corrosion standards for all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. If these conditions aren't met, appropriate modifications are critical. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for proper pipeline accessory installation. Ensure the compressor-connected pipeline is independently supported by a separate bracket, preventing any weight from burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete has fully set, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures all components are perfectly in place before moving forward.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and seamless integration, the compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor. Essential wiring should be expertly managed by threading pipes that are routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely installed, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless connection.
