3.3.1 Begin the seamless installation of the compressor by securely placing the integrally constructed base upon the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit to an impeccable level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring precise leveling of the unit. Once achieved, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions on-site. The contact surfaces must be finished to perfection, ensuring uniform contact of the inclined planes.
The structural integrity demands that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the absolute levelness of the unit. The stringent leveling standards require the axial level to be a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the unit stands at these exacting standards for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable alignment of the coupling center. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure these critical preconditions are met:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Scrutinize the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from any debris, dirt, or attachments for optimal functionality.
5) The motor bolt holes should be generously larger than the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustment by loosening the bolts.
6) Gather a sufficient number of high-quality stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. The gaskets must be immaculately clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer must provide.
8) Prepare a robust bracket as depicted in the figure to support the dial indicator effectively.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Through fine-tuning of the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines with exceptional precision, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is merely 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, maintaining a coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, meticulously reviewing both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for consistency.;
12) Once alignment is confirmed, reattach the coupling intermediate section post the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 Following thorough adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, re-assess the bolts to ensure they are tightened correctly.
3.3.5 Recognize the impeller as a high-speed marvel, susceptible to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Thus, it is imperative to maintain pristine conditions in the inlet and outlet pipelines interfacing with the compressor, adhering to stringent steam corrosion standards. Any pipelines falling short must undergo obligatory rectification.For enhanced safety, consider integrating solid-liquid separation apparatus, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with the appropriate pipeline accessories as detailed in the PI diagram. The connecting pipelines must be independently supported by an external bracket, ensuring their weight is never borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has fully set and solidified, you can proceed triumphantly to conduct the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal operation, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter range from the compressor. Seamlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet by threading the pipe underground, ensuring a clean and unobtrusive installation. After securing the electric control cabinet in its ideal location, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing flawless integration and performance.
