MVR, known as mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy conservation technology designed to optimize energy usage by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam it generates. This innovative approach operates on a fundamental principle: the evaporator produces secondary steam, which is then compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, thus heating the materials and initiating evaporation. This not only maximizes the recycling potential of the latent heat of vaporization but also significantly minimizes the need for external energy sources.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This exceptional piece of machinery boasts a compact structure, ensuring it occupies minimal space, while its design prioritizes convenience, making maintenance a straightforward task. It's a remarkable blend of technical sophistication and practical functionality.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Secure the irons by spot welding at 4-5 strategic points. These wedges should be crafted
and installed by users based on specific needs, with a finished contact surface for uniform contact of the inclined plane. Remember, the wedge iron's bearing capacity
must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to ensure accurate leveling. The unit's leveling precision: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure coupling alignment is spot on. Before aligning, meet these critical conditions:
1) Securely shut off the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield for better access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Confirm the motor installation plane's flatness by ensuring it's free of foreign objects, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for easy bolt loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Stock up on sufficient stainless steel gaskets for the motor's feet. Ensure they are clean and flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Have a bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor's wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust bolts around the motor feet until the compressor and motor center lines nearly align (or follow specific instructions). The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. The coupling end face should be between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, ensure motor foot bolts are tightly secured. Recheck the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation (or trial), loosen and retighten them to ensure durability.
3.3.5 Protect the impeller, a high-speed rotating entity, from damage by preventing solid or liquid entry. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines. It's highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Follow the PI diagram for all necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure that the pipelines are independently supported, avoiding any load on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial stage ensures that everything is functioning optimally, setting the stage for peak performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet should be expertly installed using threading pipes that run underground, ensuring both safety and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly stationed, seamlessly connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for a streamlined operational process.
