MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly reduce the reliance on external energy sources. This is achieved by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy that it generates. The essential principle behind this technology is that the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor, which transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. The pressure and temperature of this secondary steam are elevated, allowing it to return to the evaporator. Here, it effectively heats the materials, prompting evaporation, and thus, facilitates the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is ingeniously designed to include key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This sophisticated piece of engineering flaunts a compact structure, ensuring not only space efficiency but also ease of maintenance, making it a preferred choice for modern applications.
3.3.1 Effortlessly install the compressor: Place the base securely on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base for precision in leveling the unit.
Leveling made easy: Alternate two wedge-shaped irons, level the unit, and secure with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. Custom-manufacture these wedges to perfectly suit your situation.
Ensure flawless contact: The contact surface needs to be finely finished to guarantee even contact of the inclined plane.
Note: The wedge iron's load-bearing capacity should not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling with a leveler. Requirements: Maintain an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling alignment. Before you start, ensure you meet these important criteria:
1) Ensure safety first—turn off the main power supply.
2) Safely remove the coupling shield.
3) Carefully detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Ensure the motor installation plane is pristine with no foreign items or debris.
5) Optimize flexibility: The motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, allowing bolt loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Gather precision tools: Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready, ensuring they are flat and clean. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and base.
7) Precision tools: Have a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, ready for use.
8) Ensure readiness: Prepare the bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below.
9) Achieve precision: Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator positioning, aligning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune alignment: Use adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm.
11) Secure success: Tighten motor foot bolts and review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) After successful motor idling tests, install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Secure the foundation: Post-alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation or trial run, retighten for assured stability.
3.3.5 Protect the impeller: This high-speed component is sensitive to foreign entries. Ensure all connected pipelines are clean and adhere to the required steam corrosion grade.Enhance safety with the addition of solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Seamlessly integrate inlet and outlet pipes: Install them with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure pipelines are supported by external brackets, not the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has achieved full solidification, the stage is set for the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be seamlessly established using threading pipes that run underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and efficient electronic communication.
