3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust and ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons to achieve optimal leveling, then proceed to spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points for enhanced stability.
It's essential for the user to craft and install these wedges tailored to the specific situation, ensuring a flawless contact surface for uniform engagement.
The inclined plane must maintain consistent contact, and the wedge iron's load-bearing capacity should not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to verify the unit's alignment. The axial level precision should be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Attain precise coupling alignment. Ensure all preparatory requirements are met before proceeding:
1) Deactivate the main electrical power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield safely;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for debris, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) Confirm that motor bolt holes exceed bolt size for easy adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient quantity of flawless stainless-steel shims to cover the motor's feet, avoiding the use of long, thin shims for precision.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with impeccable accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be sourced by the customer;
8) Set up the necessary support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub bracket for precise dial indicator placement, ensuring accurate measurement at the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor feet adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines smoothly, adhering to a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for outer circle alignment.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify the runout of the outer circle and end face on the coupling for accuracy;
12) Reattach the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's perfect 'levelness' and alignment are achieved, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation, it's crucial to re-loosen and re-tighten for ultimate stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands absolute cleanliness of connected pipelines to prevent irreversible damage from intruding solids or liquids. Ensuring pipelines meet the steam corrosion system standards is paramount. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Follow the PI diagram for incorporating relevant pipeline accessories, ensuring the compressor body bears no additional weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has reached full solidity, it is the perfect moment to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a 5-meter range of the compressor itself. Utilize a threading pipe to securely connect the wiring from the compressor to the underground electric control cabinet.
