The essence of this innovative process lies in the highly efficient steam compressor, which compresses the secondary steam generated by the evaporator. It effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, the elevated temperature recycles back to the evaporator, heating materials and facilitating further evaporation, thereby achieving a sustainable cycle of reutilizing the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The Oil-Film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor, a marvel of modern turbine technology, employs a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its sophisticated design features a unique structure where the impeller is seamlessly mounted at the motor's shaft extension end. This allows the rotor to be supported directly by an innovative oil film bearing, which enables the compressor to achieve direct drive through the high-speed motor. Remarkably, this advanced configuration eliminates the need for cumbersome speed increasing gearboxes and couplings, ensuring a streamlined and efficient operational process.
3.3.1 Position the robust compressor base efficiently on the foundation, ensuring stability with wedge-shaped shims beneath. These shims are expertly used to perfectly level the unit,
and should be placed alternately for optimal support. Once the unit is meticulously leveled, proceed to spot weld the shims securely at 4-5 strategic points. The construction and
installation of the wedge shall be the responsibility of the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for even and effective contact,
with the inclined plane. Note that the wedge's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfect alignment. The precise leveling requirements are: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with exact precision. Before initiating alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are meticulously followed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply entirely;
2) Carefully detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness meticulously to eliminate any foreign substances;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently large to allow bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets that are faultlessly flat and devoid of any attachments for motor support. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy), procured by the customer;
8) Have ready a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as demonstrated in the subsequent illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub bracket to securely mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet so that the compressor aligns impeccably with the motor center line (or as per specific instructions), maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, tighten the motor foot bolts securely, and rigorously check the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.
12) After conducting a motor idling test, proceed to reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving flawless 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, proceed to securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen bolts, then retighten.
3.3.5 The impeller, a vital high-speed rotating element, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusion, as this can cause irreversible damage. Thus, ensure the associated inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short of this must be rectified. It's advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) right before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines with precision. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are fitted according to the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be independently supported by an auxiliary bracket, ensuring its weight is not rested upon the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has set completely, it's time to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test. This crucial phase is designed to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Utilize threading pipes for an unobtrusive underground connection from the compressor to the cabinet. Once in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring flawless communication and control.
