The core principle involves the compression of secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process masterfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated, allowing it to be returned to the evaporator. Here, it serves to heat the materials and induce evaporation, thereby enabling the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a meticulously crafted compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is characterized by a compact structure, promoting ease of maintenance and operational efficiency. This elegant integration of components ensures that the compressor is not only highly efficient but also user-friendly, providing an optimal solution for modern industrial needs.
3.3.1 To ensure the utmost stability, the compressor base should be seamlessly positioned on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, securing the leveled unit with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. Remember,
these wedges must be tailored and installed by the user to suit the specific circumstances, ensuring a flawlessly finished contact surface.
The wedge iron's contact plane must evenly bear weight and should not exceed a load of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve precise coordination by using a level: the unit's axial precision must be at 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal alignment needs to be at 0.10/1000mm.
This meticulous attention ensures optimal operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Perfect the alignment of the coupling by ensuring these preparations:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to prevent any mishaps;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Confirm the motor's installation surface is impeccably smooth, devoid of any debris or grime;
5) Ensure bolt holes in the motor are ample relative to bolt size, providing flexibility for motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets, perfectly flat and free from attachments, to cover the motor's feet—avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for fine-tuning;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with precision of 0.01mm, which should be customer-provided;
8) Secure a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the dial indicator probe is on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Align the compressor and motor center lines by adjusting bolts around the motor feet, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circumference is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling's end face should have a deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Once aligned, carefully tighten the motor foot bolts and double-check the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conduct an idling test on the motor before reattaching the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment and levelness are perfected, firmly secure the anchor bolts. After successful mechanical operation, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure sustained stability.
3.3.5 Recognizing the impeller's high-speed rotation, it's critical to prevent any solid or liquid entry, as this could cause permanent damage. Ensure all associated pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion standards or rectify any substandard pipelines.Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Carefully install the inlet and outlet pipelines for the compressor. Adhere to the PI diagram for the installation of relevant pipeline accessories. Importantly, ensure that any pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, not the compressor itself, to maintain the integrity of the installation.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supportive apparatus are meticulously installed and the concrete base has reached full solidity, the compressor is primed and ready for its inaugural operation test. This ensures peak performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The compressor's state-of-the-art electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius from the compressor. Ensure the seamless connection between the compressor and the cabinet by using threading pipes that are expertly laid underground. Once the cabinet is securely in place, diligently connect the wiring terminals within to the remote DCS system, ensuring flawless communication and control.
