MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-conserving technology designed to significantly cut down the need for external energy by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it produces. At the core of this innovative principle lies the process where secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, is compressed with the help of a highly efficient steam compressor. This transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature reintroduces the secondary steam back into the evaporator, where it heats materials, initiates evaporation, and thus effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor, meticulously engineered for optimal performance, predominantly comprises a robust compressor body featuring components such as volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. It is complemented by a coupling, motor, and a sophisticated electric instrument, all designed to work in harmony.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. To achieve optimal alignment, strategically position wedge-shaped shims under the base. These shims serve to meticulously adjust the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternatively and, once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed to spot weld the irons at 4~5 strategic points. Remember, the wedge iron should be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished to achieve even contact of the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to establish the unit's level. The stringent leveling criteria demand that the axial level of the unit be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should conform to a parameter of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve coupling centering with precision. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following preparatory steps are executed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from foreign objects, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to provide robust support for the motor's foot. Ensure these gaskets are devoid of any attachments and are perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Deploy a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with impeccable precision of 0.01mm (must be supplied by the customer);
8) Ensure the availability of a bracket dedicated to supporting the dial indicator as illustrated in the guide below;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, strategically placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line to be nearly congruent (or follow the respective instructions). Ensure the maximum deviation on the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and keep the coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) After achieving alignment, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and reassess both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout;
12) Upon a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Subsequent to refining the casing's levelness and alignment, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfast integrity.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller operates at high speeds, any foreign solid or liquid can inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, it is imperative to verify that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must undergo rectification. It is highly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that the import and export pipelines incorporate the necessary pipeline accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by an alternate bracket, safeguarding the compressor body from bearing any undue weight.
3.3.7 Following the complete installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and after the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that your setup is primed for optimal performance, maximizing the efficiency of your Smart Split Base Compressor.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor to streamline operations. For an efficient and organized setup, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly routed through a threading pipe laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and superior control over your system.
