3.3.1 Begin by securely situating the compressor base directly onto its foundation. Artfully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, using these to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit achieves the desired level, expertly spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and positioned by the user, tailored to the specific installation environment, guaranteeing even contact across the inclined planes.
Ensure the bearing capacity of each wedge iron remains below 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to fine-tune the unit’s positioning. The unit's axial level must be within 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is essential. Before commencing alignment, please adhere to the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Confirm that motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's base. Avoid using overly thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, as procured by the customer;
8) Have on hand the necessary bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in subsequent figures;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub’s edge, with the probe touching the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet using adjustment bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (ensure the motor shaft center line is positioned above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and maintain coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess both the outer circle runout and the coupling’s end face runout;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustments, secure the casing's alignment and levelness by tightening anchor bolts. Following mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed motion necessitates a pristine environment, as any foreign solids or liquids can cause irreversible harm. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate, adhering to steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. It is recommendedto integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe, safeguarding performance.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring that pipelines are fitted with necessary accessories per the PI diagram. Pipelines should be independently supported, never relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, coupled with the complete solidification of the concrete, we are thrilled to announce that the robust compressor is ready for its operational test. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the efficacy of our cutting-edge technology.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor unit. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet should utilize threading pipes that are discreetly laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it's essential to link the wiring terminals within it to the remote DCS lines, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
