The Oil-film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor represents cutting-edge turbine technology, powered by an advanced high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its innovative design positions the impeller directly on the motor's shaft extension, while the rotor enjoys robust support from an oil film bearing. This setup enables seamless direct drive via a high-speed motor, eliminating the need for cumbersome speed increasing gearboxes and couplings. The result is a streamlined, efficient, and sophisticated system that sets new benchmarks in compressor technology.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Elegantly position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure a perfectly level unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately and, upon achieving precise leveling, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges should be meticulously crafted and installed by the user to suit the specific situation, with the contact surface expertly finished for even distribution.
Ensure that the inclined plane is even and that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The stringent leveling requirements demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled stability and accuracy.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is impeccably centered. Before initiating alignment, meticulously adhere to the following prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Assess the motor installation plane for perfect flatness, ensuring it is free from any debris or residues;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, facilitating easy adjustment by loosening the bolts;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet. These gaskets should be immaculate and sufficiently flat; avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the specialized bracket for accurately supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustration below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for strategically positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines with precision, allowing a maximum deviation of just 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conclude the alignment process by installing the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving impeccable "levelness" and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. Post a mechanical or trial operation, re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a precision-engineered high-speed rotating component, and the intrusion of any solid or liquid can lead to irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, it is crucial to maintain the cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring they meet the stringent steam corrosion grade standards of the system. Any pipelines failing to meet these standards must be rectified. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are outfitted with the appropriate pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipelines connecting to the compressor should be supported by a separate bracket to prevent any undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are impeccably installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, you may conduct the compressor operation test, heralding a new era of efficiency and performance.
