MVR, an abbreviation for mechanical vapor recompression, is a cutting-edge, energy-efficient technology that significantly minimizes the need for external energy sources. It achieves this through the ingenious reuse of secondary steam energy that the system itself generates. The core principle behind MVR is the enhancement of secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This steam is compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. Consequently, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated. This elevated secondary steam is then cycled back into the evaporator, where it heats the materials and induces evaporation. This process effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization, showcasing a superb approach to sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is ingeniously designed to include essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. It boasts a remarkably compact structure, making it exceptionally easy to maintain. This design ensures that every element works in harmony to deliver optimal performance, reliability, and user convenience.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. Ensure stability and precision by positioning wedge-shaped shims under the base to adeptly adjust the unit's level.
Place alternating wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these wedges by spot welding them at 4 to 5 points. It's crucial that these wedges are
crafted and installed by the user, taking into account the specific circumstances. Make sure the contact surfaces are finely finished, ensuring
even contact between inclined planes with a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to achieve the perfect balance. The leveling specifications for the unit are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless alignment.

3.3.3 For coupling alignment, make certain to fulfill these pre-alignment essentials:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of foreign objects, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size to allow free adjustment and movement of the motor;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot coverage, ensuring they are free from attachments and sufficiently flat. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and the base for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Have a bracket ready, as illustrated in the accompanying figure, to support the dial indicator;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor's center lines. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and the coupling end face deviation should range from 0.03mm to 0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts after alignment, and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout to ensure precision.;
12) Once the motor idling test is completed successfully, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, meticulously tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical or trial operation, it's advisable to loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal performance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component, thus any intrusion of solids or liquids could cause severe damage to the compressor. It is imperative to verify that the pipelines connected to the compressor are clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines must be furnished with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines should be independently supported by an external bracket, preventing any weight from being borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, it's the perfect moment to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter range of the compressor. The electrical connections from the compressor to the control cabinet should be expertly routed through threading pipes, ensuring they are securely placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is in its designated position, it is essential to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
