This is achieved through the innovative reutilization of the secondary steam energy it ingeniously generates. The fundamental concept revolves around secondary steam, originally produced by the evaporator, being compressed using a high energy efficiency steam compressor. This process artfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature seamlessly circulates back to the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and instigating further evaporation. This virtuous cycle brilliantly recycles the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam, leading to exceptional energy conservation.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, primarily comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Designed with a focus on compactness, this compressor boasts a streamlined structure, making it exceptionally convenient for maintenance. Its thoughtful design ensures that high performance is effortlessly combined with ease of upkeep, catering to the most demanding operational needs.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be integrally placed onto the foundation. Beneath this base, position wedge-shaped shims, essential for adjusting the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of the two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for optimal stability. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is finished to perfection, ensuring an even contact of the inclined
plane. It's critical that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit is perfectly level. The stringent leveling requirements specify that the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm, ensuring precision and stability.
3.3.3 Centring of the coupling is paramount. Before embarking on alignment, confirm the following critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off;
2) Detach the coupling shield for safety and accessibility;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Check the motor installation plane for perfect flatness, ensuring it is free from dirt, debris, and any unwanted materials;
5) The motor's bolt holes must be larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for easy loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and free from any attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustment between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the figure below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge and place a dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor's feet methodically, ensuring the compressor and motor's center line align as closely as possible (or as per specific instructions), with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should ideally be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and the coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then verify the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are adjusted, ensure the anchor bolts are tightly secured. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen these bolts and retighten them for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, as a high-speed rotating component, must be protected from any solid or liquid ingress, which could cause irreversible damage. It is imperative to maintain cleanliness and adherence to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system for both inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. Any pipelines not meeting these standards must be rectified. It'sstrongly advised to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to safeguard the system.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor should be supported by a separate bracket to prevent its weight from bearing down on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidification, the compressor is primed for an operational test. This ensures optimal functionality and performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically installed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure that the wiring connecting the compressor to the cabinet is meticulously threaded through a protective conduit, securely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, it is essential to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operation.
