The core principle is that this innovative system compresses secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, which elevates both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, heating the materials and fostering evaporation. This cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, thus optimizing energy use and efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, consisting of a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. This series is celebrated for its compact design, ensuring easy maintenance while delivering reliable performance. Each component is meticulously crafted to ensure seamless operation and maximum efficiency in various applications.
3.3.1 The robust compressor base is seamlessly positioned on the foundation. Gently place wedge-shaped shims under the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve perfect leveling, then securely spot weld them at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Craft and install the wedges tailored to your specific requirements, ensuring a smooth contact surface for optimal support.
These finely crafted wedges should uphold a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to establish the perfect horizontal and axial alignment. Target a precise axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for the unit.
Ensure that these meticulous leveling standards are met to guarantee the compressor's peak performance.
3.3.3 Achieve ideal coupling alignment. Before embarking on this technical alignment task, confirm these crucial steps:
1) Safety first: ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield with precision;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section gently;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane's flatness for any dirt or attachments that could impede installation;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are appropriately sized to allow easy bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's footing, ensuring they are pristine and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise stability.
7) Employ precision tools like a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which the customer should procure;
8) Ready the essential bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below, to facilitate seamless measurements;
9) The motor wheel hub bracket is crucial for mounting the dial indicator on the hub's edge, allowing for precise probe placement on the compressor wheel hub's outer boundary;
10) By finely adjusting bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a tight deviation of just 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section post-motor idle test for flawless operation.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are precisely adjusted, firmly secure the anchor bolts. After successful mechanical operations or trial runs, loosen and retighten them to guarantee stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusions that might cause irreversible damage. Ensure that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify non-compliant pipelines immediately. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for fitting relevant accessories, ensuring all pipelines are independently supported by brackets to prevent unnecessary strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the powerful main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are carefully installed, and the concrete foundation is fully solidified, you can proceed with the compressor's operation test. This ensures optimal functionality and efficiency.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, position the compressor's sophisticated electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Utilize threading pipes to securely connect the wiring underground from the compressor to this control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, make sure to connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless operational setup.
