This innovative system operates on the fundamental principle wherein the secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, is efficiently compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process cleverly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature then directs the secondary steam back into the evaporator, where it serves the dual purpose of heating the materials and generating further evaporation. This cycle ensures the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series single-stage geard steam compressor is an epitome of advanced design, primarily comprising a compact compressor body, a durable coupling, a robust gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, a precise electric instrument, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. Its structure is meticulously engineered to be compact, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation, making it an ideal choice for streamlined performance.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Wedge-shaped shims should be positioned under the base to precisely adjust the unit level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring that after leveling the unit, you spot weld the wedge irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them.
These wedges should be manufactured and installed by the user according to their specific needs, ensuring the contact surface is finished for even contact.
The inclined plane should be in full contact, and the wedge iron must bear no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to precisely establish the unit's level. The axial level requirement is a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level requirement is 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures the installation is perfectly balanced according to the specified standards.
3.3.3 Align the coupling with meticulous precision. Before commencing this vital alignment process, ensure the following steps are conscientiously followed:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off to prioritize safety.
2) Proceed to remove the coupling shield with care.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section cautiously.
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, removing any foreign objects, dirt, or unwanted attachments.
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing for easy loosening and adjustment.
6) Ensure ample stainless steel gaskets are available to properly support the motor feet. These gaskets must be clean and perfectly flat, avoiding lengthy and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm precision) which should be prepared by the customer.
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready for dial indicator support, as illustrated in the provided diagram.
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket for placing a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel hub, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust bolts around the motor feet so that the compressor and motor center lines align closely, with a maximum deviation of merely 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review and ensure the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling are within acceptable limits.;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of casing levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After initial or trial operations, loosen then retighten these bolts to confirm steadfastness.
3.3.5 Recognize the impeller's high-speed rotation. Any solid or liquid intrusion can incur irreversible damage. Thus, ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines need immediate correction.It is recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet to prevent potential damage.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for installing related pipeline accessories. Ensure that pipelines are supported by separate brackets, not by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation is fully cured and solidified, you can confidently commence the operation test of the compressor. This crucial step ensures that all components are perfectly aligned and prepared for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring pathway, essential for connectivity, should be expertly routed via a threading pipe that resides underground, ensuring safety and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, the wiring terminals inside should be precisely connected with the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust communication link that guarantees efficient operation.
