Central to its construction is the robust compressor body, comprising the meticulously crafted volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, all seamlessly integrated for optimal performance. 3.3.1 Begin the installation with placing the compressor base as a whole on the designated foundation. Expertly position wedge-shaped shims underneath (these will be used to finely adjust the level of the unit).
Place the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges are to be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual circumstances.
Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for even contact. The incline plane should meet the specified standards.
Note: The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 To achieve precision leveling, employ a high-quality level. The meticulous leveling of the unit demands that the axial level is maintained at an impressive 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Elevate coupling alignment with these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect and confirm that the motor installation plane is impeccably flat and free from any debris or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, permitting easy bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Assemble sufficient stainless steel gaskets to effectively cushion the motor's feet. These gaskets should be impeccably clean and flat. Avoid using elongated thin gaskets for motor-base adjustment;
7) Utilize a superior dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an exacting accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the specialized bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to adeptly place a dial indicator on the wheel hub's periphery, ensuring the probe is positioned on the outer edge of the compressor's wheel hub;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and the motor center lines to near perfection (or as per provided guidelines). The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling's end face deviation should be within 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously verify the runout of the outer circle and the coupling's end face.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test for optimal performance.
3.3.4 Once the casing's "levelness" and alignment are refined, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure sustained integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be safeguarded against any solid or liquid intrusion, as these could inflict irreversible damage. Ensure that the compressor-connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine, satisfying the system's stringent steam corrosion standards. Rectify pipelines falling short of these conditions. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram meticulously to incorporate relevant pipeline accessories. It is crucial that the pipeline connecting to the compressor is supported by a separate bracket, as the compressor body must not bear its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are securely installed, and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring should be meticulously connected through a threading pipe, discreetly routed underground for a cleaner look and enhanced safety. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, ensure the wiring terminals are precisely connected to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring smooth and efficient communication throughout the system.
