The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam from the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor, skillfully transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process elevates the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, allowing it to return to the evaporator. It then effectively heats the materials, inducing evaporation and ensuring the intelligent recycling of latent heat from the vaporization of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a meticulously designed compressor body, a reliable coupling, a robust gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, sophisticated electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by meticulously positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims underneath the base to achieve a perfectly leveled unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern; once the unit is flawlessly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to ensure stability. The precision-crafted wedge should be
tailored and installed by the user, taking into account the actual conditions, with the contact surface expertly finished for even contact on inclined
planes. Ensure the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to obtain absolute levelness. The leveling specifications demand: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Align the coupling with meticulous precision. Before commencing alignment, ensure these essential requirements are fulfilled:
1) Deactivate the primary power supply for safety;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Inspect and guarantee the motor's installation plane is pristine, free from foreign objects, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt size, enabling easy bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of flawless stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. Gaskets must be devoid of attachments and maintain perfect flatness. Avoid inserting long and thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustment;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision accuracy of 0.01mm, as arranged by the customer;
8) Set up a bracket to support the dial indicator according to the illustration below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor centerlines align nearly perfectly (or as per specific instructions). The maximum deviation for the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm (with the motor shaft centerline positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline), and coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Upon finalizing adjustments, tighten the motor foot bolts securely, then recheck the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor's idle testing to ensure flawless operation.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are optimized, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial run), slightly loosen and retighten the bolts for utmost stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from intruding solids or liquids. Hence, it is critical to guarantee the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short of these standards must be rectified immediately. It's highly recommended toincorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard the machinery.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with the necessary pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. Support the pipeline linked to the compressor with an independent bracket, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it's time to proceed with the operational testing of the compressor. This crucial step ensures that the Steam Compressor with Enhanced Guide Vane Adjustment and Split Base is ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the control cabinet should be securely established using threading pipe that runs underground, safeguarding the installation. Once the control cabinet is set in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thereby completing the setup for efficient control and monitoring.
