MVR, standing for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative energy-conserving technology designed to significantly reduce the requirement for external energy sources by ingeniously utilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle revolves around compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process cleverly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, the increased temperature reintroduces the secondary steam into the evaporator, enabling it to heat materials and induce evaporation, thus achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor embodies excellence in its design, primarily comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. This model is celebrated for its compact structure, making it exceptionally easy to maintain while maximizing operational efficiency.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by securely placing the compressor base on its designated foundation. Ensure perfect alignment by strategically positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving the desired unit level.
Skillfully alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons, maintaining balance and precision. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, firmly spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. This will ensure steadfast support.
Craft and install the wedge according to specific user needs and actual on-site conditions. The contact surface must be well-finished to provide even contact across the inclined plane.
Ensure that the wedge iron boasts a formidable bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain absolute levelness. The unit must meet stringent leveling standards, achieving an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.
These exacting requirements ensure optimal performance and operational stability.

3.3.3 For coupling alignment, adhere to the following meticulous preparations:
1) Ensure safety first by cutting off the main power supply.
2) Unveil the coupling by removing the protective shield.
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for unhindered access.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane flatness, eradicating all foreign objects, dirt, and attachments to ensure a clean surface.
5) Allow flexibility by ensuring that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, facilitating necessary adjustments by loosening the bolts.
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. These gaskets must be impeccably clean and flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets which could impair alignment.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accurate to 0.01mm), provided by the customer, to achieve meticulous alignment.
8) Assemble the bracket for dial indicator support as illustrated below, ensuring stability and accuracy.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer perimeter.
10) By expertly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines for maximum precision. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, and the motor shaft center line must be slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line; coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03-0.05mm.

11) Conclude the alignment by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then conducting a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for assurance..
12) After a successful motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section to complete the alignment process.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, ensure all anchor bolts are tightly secured. After conducting mechanical or trial operations, it's crucial to loosen and retighten these bolts to maintain structural integrity.
3.3.5 Recognizing the impeller as a high-speed component, it's vital to prevent any solid or liquid ingress that could cause significant damage. Therefore, it's imperative to verify that all connected pipelines are pristine and align with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-conforming pipelines require immediate rectification.
Introduce solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Support these pipelines with independent brackets, ensuring that their weight is not borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan and its accompanying equipment, and once the concrete has fully cured to ensure maximum stability, you are ready to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor is to be positioned within a 5-meter range from the compressor itself. The connection, skillfully threaded through piping, should be routed underground to maintain a clean and unobtrusive setup. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to expertly link the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
