MVR, an abbreviation for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-conserving technology designed to significantly curtail the need for external energy sources. At its core, the process involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, subsequently elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. In turn, this temperature increase facilitates the return of the secondary steam to the evaporator, where it effectively heats materials and induces evaporation. This innovative cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, marking a revolution in energy efficiency.
Our DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterful blend of engineering excellence, comprising key components like the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Elevate the compressor base with precision by positioning it integrally on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to expertly adjust the unit level,
positioning alternate wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, proceed to spot weld the irons securely at 4~5 strategic points. The design and installation of
these wedges should be executed by the user based on specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are perfectly finished, providing even contact of the inclined
planes. The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Attain impeccable alignment using a precise level. The unit demands rigorous leveling standards: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must remain at 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Centralize the coupling with precision. Before initiating the alignment process, ensure the following vital precautions are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure complete safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness to guarantee the absence of debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt size, allowing adjustment ease and motor flexibility;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to comprehensively cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be flat, free from attachments, and stable. Long, thin gaskets are not suitable for inserting between the motor and the base for adjustments;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with precision accuracy of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Have a bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the subsequent figure;
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to delicately position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation of the outer circle should remain at 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Comply with coupling end face standards of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Upon finalizing alignment, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, thoroughly reviewing both outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, re-install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial runs, it's critical to loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be protected from solid or liquid intrusions, as these could catastrophically damage the compressor. Maintain cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring compliance with the steam corrosion grade requirements. Any non-conforming pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. It ishighly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories per the PI diagram. Additionally, these pipelines must be supported independently by a separate bracket, avoiding any undue weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has completely set, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures that every component functions harmoniously, guaranteeing optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring, a critical connection, must be channeled through a threading pipe that runs underground, ensuring both safety and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely situated, establish connections with precision by linking the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, enabling streamlined operations and robust control.
