MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-saving technology designed to drastically reduce the need for external energy sources by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle of this remarkable system is the compression of secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process skillfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Once the temperature is elevated, the secondary steam returns to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and driving the evaporation process. This ingenious method facilitates the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam, optimizing energy usage and contributing to sustainable operations.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a remarkable engineering achievement, primarily consisting of several integral components. These include the robust compressor body, comprising the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, all meticulously designed for optimal performance. In addition, the system features a precision-engineered coupling, a powerful motor, and an advanced electric instrument panel. Each element is harmoniously integrated to ensure seamless operation and unparalleled efficiency in steam compression.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are essential for adjusting the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for even contact of the inclined
plane, and guarantee the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to ascertain the unit's levelness. The leveling criteria for the unit are stringent: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should be 0.10/1000mm, ensuring impeccable precision.

3.3.3 The coupling is expertly centered. Before beginning alignment, ensure the following requirements are meticulously met:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Diligently remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from any debris, dirt, or attachments.
5) The motor bolt hole should be larger than the bolt size to enable loosening and adjusting the motor with ease.
6) Ensure a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be impeccable, without attachments, and perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be prepared by the customer.
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the figure below.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By precisely adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and the motor center line. The maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line; coupling end face should be between 0.03 and 0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling,;
12) Install the coupling intermediate section after conducting the motor idling test to ensure everything is in optimal condition.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, fasten the anchor bolts firmly. Following the mechanical operation (or trial operation), release the bolts and retighten them for absolute stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a highly sophisticated, high-speed component. Any intrusion of solid or liquid into the impeller can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. It's imperative to maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. If these conditions aren't met, rectification is necessary. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet to prevent any potential damage.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. The import and export pipelines must be equipped with the relevant pipeline accessories as indicated in the PI diagram. Furthermore, ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, thereby preventing unnecessary weight stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its indispensable ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, you are poised to initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures that all components are seamlessly integrated and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For the seamless integration of the compressor's operation, the electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter proximity to the compressor. The wiring linkage, from the compressor to this vital control hub, should be expertly routed through an underground threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is adeptly installed, ensure to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and reliable communication pathway.
