3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor's robust base onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically positioned beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level and stability.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped irons to achieve perfect leveling. Once this is accomplished, securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Ensure that these wedges are
crafted and installed with precision, keeping in mind the actual conditions on-site. The contact surfaces must be flawlessly finished to ensure even contact along the inclined
plane. Note that the wedge iron's load-bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously verify the unit's alignment. The unit's stringent leveling requirements are as follows: the axial level must be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must be precisely at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling centering by following these essential steps before initiating alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for inspection;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for pristine flatness and ensure it is free of debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are appropriately larger than the bolt size, allowing for adjustments by loosening bolts;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These must be devoid of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets for motor-base adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer needs to prepare in advance;
8) Prepare a suitable bracket as depicted in the provided diagram to support the dial indicator;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately (or as per relevant guidelines), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (the motor shaft center should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center), while the coupling end face permits a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and subsequently review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) Post successful motor idling tests, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's "levelness" and alignment are finely adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation (including trial runs), they should be loosened and retightened to ensure maximum structural integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation makes it vulnerable to serious damage if solids or liquids enter it. Thus, maintaining clean inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards is essential. Any non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet to safeguard its integrity.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should feature relevant pipeline accessories, as indicated by the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently by separate brackets, thereby relieving the compressor body of undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can proceed with conducting the compressor operation test. This test is crucial to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For optimal safety and efficiency, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be routed through underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, make sure to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless operation and control.
