3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims underneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is leveled, perform a spot weld on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points ensuring stability.
The wedge should be crafted and installed by the user based on their specific needs, and the contact surface must be finely finished for a perfect contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ensure the unit's faultless leveling. The exacting requirements demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Prioritize these steps before commencing alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is safely turned off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section thoughtfully;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of any foreign particles, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to adjust the motor as needed;
6) Stock sufficient flat, debris-free stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and the base for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a customer-prepared laser alignment meter with an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm;
8) Ensure the availability of a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, ensure the alignment of the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face precision of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision alignment.;
12) Following the motor's idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's "levelness" and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After any mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel. Protect it from any solid or liquid intrusion, as these could cause irreversible damage. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connecting with the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines must be rectified immediately. It is highly recommended to introduce solid-liquid separation equipment, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensure the import and export pipelines are fitted with the requisite pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket to prevent the weight from bearing down on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the robust main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test! This marks a pivotal moment when readiness meets reliability.
3.3.8 Position the sophisticated electric control cabinet of the compressor strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure seamless connectivity by threading the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet through secure underground pipes. Once the control cabinet is securely stationed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless electrifying control.
