3.3.1 Begin by strategically placing the compressor base wholly on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfectly adjust and level the unit. This will ensure a solid, unwavering foundation.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving an impeccable leveling of the unit. Proceed to meticulously spot weld the wedges at 4-5 crucial points, ensuring exceptional stability.
The user is entrusted to manufacture and install these wedges, tailoring them to the specific on-site conditions. It's essential to achieve a finished contact surface, ensuring seamless contact on the inclined plane.
The load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron should be carefully maintained not to exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to verify the unit's alignment. The leveling precision requirements are stringent: axial level must be within a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must uphold 0.10/1000mm excellence.
3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is centered is critical. Before starting the alignment process, meticulously confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off completely;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield with attention to detail;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with utmost care;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor's installation plane, ensuring it's immaculate and free from any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor's bolt holes need to be slightly larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for precision loosening and adjusting of the motor positioning;
6) Ensure an ample supply of flawless stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be pristine, devoid of any attachments, and completely flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, as supplied by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, adhering to the detailed specifications and diagram provided below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is precisely designed to host a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for accurate readings;
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, achieve an optimal alignment where the compressor and motor center lines unify perfectly, or follow corresponding instructions. The outer circle deviation should never exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly surpassing the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) After successful alignment, proceed to securely tighten the motor foot bolts, re-evaluating the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for utmost precision;
12) Once the motor idling test concludes satisfactorily, reinstall the coupling intermediate section, finalizing the setup.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect "levelness" and alignment of the casing, proceed to firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten bolts to reinforce steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel, and its integrity depends on maintaining a pristine environment. Any solid or liquid ingress could spell irreversible harm. Therefore, ensure the pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculate and uphold the rigorous steam corrosion grade standards of the system. Any non-compliant pipelines must be rectified without delay. It's highly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, right before the straight pipe leading into the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the meticulous installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. These import and export pipelines must incorporate all relevant accessories, as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor requires external support from a separate bracket, ensuring its weight never burdens the compressor body, thereby safeguarding its longevity and performance.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supplementary apparatus are precisely installed and the concrete structure has fully set, you are ready to initiate the energizing compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures that all components are seamlessly aligned and primed for optimal performance, paving the way for flawless functionality.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, situate the compressor's electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The critical wiring that connects the compressor to this cabinet should be expertly channeled through a threading pipe, securely positioned underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly stationed, effortlessly link the internal wiring terminals to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a harmonious and efficient operational setup.
