MVR, also known as Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-saving technology designed to drastically cut down the need for external energy sources. This is achieved by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy that it itself generates. The fundamental principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This steam is then compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. This process results in an increase in both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is subsequently redirected back to the evaporator. Once there, it heats the materials, instigating further evaporation and thus enabling the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, incorporating several key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an anti-surge control system. It boasts a compact and efficient design, ensuring ease of maintenance and optimal performance. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly on its foundation, ensuring stability with wedge-shaped shims beneath it to achieve precision leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these wedges with spot welds at 4-5 points.
The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedge according to their specific requirements, ensuring a finished contact surface for optimal stability.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm², emphasizing even contact over its inclined plane.

3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain precision. Adherence to leveling standards is crucial: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
These specifications ensure the unit operates with the highest efficiency.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by following these essential prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the protective shield from the coupling;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor's bolt holes should be ample enough to allow bolt adjustment for motor positioning;
6) Prepare an adequate supply of flat, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets for motor support. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm) for precise measurements, as provided by the customer;
8) Set up the bracket to support the dial indicator, following the diagram below;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm and ensuring the motor shaft is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.

11) Lastly, secure the motor foot bolts and perform a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. Following a mechanical run or trial operation, retighten these bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must be protected from solids or liquids that could cause irreversible damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards.
Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet to enhance protection.
3.3.6 Attach the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring pipelines feature appropriate accessories per the PI diagram. Support these pipelines independently to avoid burdening the compressor body with their weight.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been seamlessly installed, and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor's operational testing. This crucial step ensures that everything functions flawlessly, assuring you of a smooth and efficient performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal accessibility. The wiring journey from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously executed using threading pipes, which are routed underground, ensuring a tidy and safe installation. With the electric control cabinet securely in place, it's time to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals to the distant DCS, establishing a robust communication link that guarantees efficient and reliable operations.
