3.3.1 Begin the seamless installation by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously achieve and maintain a perfect level.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is precisely leveled, spot weld the irons at 4~5 strategic points. This ensures stability.
The user should craft and install the wedges according to specific requirements, ensuring the contact surface is perfectly finished for ideal weight distribution.
The inclined contact plane must evenly distribute the load, with a wedge iron bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to confirm the unit's alignment. The axial level requirement is a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands 0.10/1000mm, ensuring superior precision.
These stringent leveling requirements guarantee optimal performance and durability.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment with these preparatory steps:
1) Ensure safety by disconnecting the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for unhindered alignment.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness to avoid any unwanted debris or attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the size of the bolts for easy adjustment.
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor's footing, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat for optimal stability.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be procured by the customer).
8) Have the support bracket ready to hold the dial indicator securely, as illustrated.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise measurements.
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center line, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for flawless operation.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idle test, completing the alignment process.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, tighten the anchor bolts after achieving the unit's 'levelness.' Following mechanical or trial operation, recheck and re-tighten the bolts to ensure steadfast stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be safeguarded against any solid or liquid intrusion, which could lead to irreversible damage. Ensure connecting inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine, meeting the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.As a precaution, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Refer to the PI diagram for correctly fitting pipeline accessories. The pipelines must be supported by separate brackets to avoid undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidification, it is time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that every component functions flawlessly, promising optimal performance and efficiency.
3.3.8 Ensure the electric control cabinet is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for seamless operation. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly executed using threading pipes, which must be installed underground to ensure protection and reliability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a robust and effective operational setup.
