This groundbreaking approach operates on a simple yet effective principle: the secondary steam created by the evaporator is expertly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor, effectively transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process leads to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature then returns the secondary steam to the evaporator, facilitating the heating of materials and consequently generating more evaporation. 3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base securely onto the foundation, integrating wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, apply spot welds at 4 to 5 points on these irons. The design and installation of the wedge
must align with user-specific requirements, ensuring the contact surface is even for optimal performance, with an even contact of the inclined plane.
The wedge iron should not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2.This specification ensures a stable foundation.
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precision. The leveling standards demand an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for the unit.
Accuracy in these measurements ensures the integrity of the operation.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before alignment, the following preparatory steps must be verified:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane to guarantee it is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole diameter exceeds the bolt size to facilitate adjustments by loosening the bolts as needed;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor's feet. These gaskets must be free of any attachments and should maintain a flat profile. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with a 0.01mm accuracy, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the mounting bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as detailed in the illustration below;
9) Employ the motor hub mounting bracket to securely mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously until the compressor and motor center lines align perfectly. The maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, while the motor shaft center line should sit slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should remain within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) After achieving alignment, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the couplingto ensure precision;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the intermediate section of the coupling to complete the process.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, firmly secure the anchor bolts. After completing mechanical operations or trial runs, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to confirm stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating element, and the introduction of any solid or liquid into it can result in catastrophic damage to the compressor. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are scrupulously clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines falling short of these criteria must undergo rectification.It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, upstream of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines. These pipelines should incorporate the relevant pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline affixed to the compressor must be supported by an auxiliary bracket, ensuring that the compressor body does not bear its weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the primary fan and its supporting equipment is complete, and the concrete has fully set and cured, the next exciting phase can commence: conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal stage is essential to ensure peak performance and reliability of the entire setup.
3.3.8 The strategic placement of the compressor's electric control cabinet is crucial; it should be situated within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal and discreet connectivity, the wiring that links the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be installed through a protective threading pipe, carefully routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring seamless integration and control.
