3.3.1 The compressor base should be carefully positioned on its foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Place the alternating wedge-shaped irons strategically, and once the unit is level, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 points for stability. The wedges must be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specifics of your setup. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for even load distribution
across the inclined planes. Note, the bearing capacity of the wedge should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use precision leveling tools to achieve exact alignment: the unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Coupling requires meticulous centering. Ensure these prerequisites are met before alignment:
1) Deactivate the main power supply completely;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, removing any debris or contaminants;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's footing, ensuring they are smooth and attachment-free. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy, supplied by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as per the illustration below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for dial indicator placement on the hub's edge to gauge the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts meticulously to ensure the compressor and motor center lines align closely (refer to specific instructions), maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify the runout for both outer circle and end face of the coupling.;
12) After confirming the motor's performance through an idle test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon finalizing the unit's 'levelness' and precise alignment, reinforce the anchor bolts. Post-operation, loosen and retighten them to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller rotates at high speeds; any intrusion of solid or liquid materials can cause severe damage. It's crucial to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor, meeting system steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be appropriately rectified. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all import and export pipelines are equipped with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline should be supported by an independent bracket, with its weight not resting on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the innovative Methanol Compressor with Frequency Conversion, designed to dramatically boost the performance of heat pumps, is ready for optimal operation.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and enhanced operational efficiency, the compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The meticulous wiring, conducted through underground threading pipes, connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is firmly positioned, ensure that the wiring terminals inside are expertly connected to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines, facilitating precise control and monitoring.
