The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, featuring a meticulously designed combination of components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its compact structure ensures that it is not only space-efficient but also incredibly easy to maintain. This steam compressor stands out for its smart design, offering convenience and reliability, making it a top choice for modern industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by majestically placing the compressor base integrally upon its foundation. Slip wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling for the unit.
Meticulously alternate two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is impeccably leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points for a firm hold.
The user should craft and install the wedge according to the unique requirements of the actual situation, ensuring the contact surface is grandly finished for even contact on the inclined
plane. Remarkably, the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to determine the exact level. The unit's leveling standards are demanding: the axial level should be an exquisite 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal
level must be no greater than a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 The coupling requires careful centering. Prior to alignment, ensure these vital steps are taken:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for immaculate flatness, free of any debris, dirt, or other attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds bolt size, allowing bolts to be delicately loosened for motor adjustment;
6) Gather a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets for the motor foot coverage. These gaskets must be pristine and flat; avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base;
7) Employ a precise dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, as prepared by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator, strategically viewed in the diagram below;
9) A motor wheel hub mounting bracket will elegantly mount a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, setting the probe on the outer compressor wheel hub edge;
10) Astutely adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be an exceptional 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line and coupling end face deviation maintained within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for absolute accuracy;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the unit's "levelness" and alignment are perfectly adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts solidly. After the mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure unwavering stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel; any intrusion of solids or liquids will cause irreversible harm to the compressor. Thus, ensuring that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade is imperative. Pipelines failing this condition must be meticulously rectified to meet standards. It is stronglysuggested to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Gracefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. The import and export pipelines should be equipped with pertinent accessories following the PI diagram. Crucially, pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported independently by another bracket, ensuring their weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all supplementary apparatus are carefully installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, the stage is set to initiate the compressor operation test. This process ensures optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius. Establish a seamless connection by threading the wiring through an underground conduit, linking the compressor to its control unit. Upon securing the control cabinet, ensure that all terminal connections are meticulously paired with the remote DCS lines, establishing a flawless network for operations.
