MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-preserving technology designed to drastically curtail the need for external energy sources. This innovative process leverages the power of reutilizing the secondary steam energy it proficiently generates. The cornerstone of its operation lies in the secondary steam, which is harnessed from the evaporator. It undergoes a transformation via a high-efficiency steam compressor. This remarkable conversion elevates electrical energy to potent thermal energy, thus increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The enhanced thermal state of the steam is then looped back into the evaporator, proficiently heating materials to induce evaporation. This cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization, showcasing an impressive feat of energy efficiency in secondary steam utilization.

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation, put wedge-shaped shim under the base (used to adjust the unit level),
place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, after leveling the unit, and spot weld the wedge-shaped irons for 4~5 points. The wedge shall be
manufactured and installed by the user according to the actual situation, and the contact surface shall be finished (even contact of inclined
plane, and the bearing capacity of wedge iron shall not be greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a level to find the level. The leveling requirements of the unit: the axial level of the unit is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal
level of the unit is 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling is centered. Before starting alignment, confirm the following requirements:
1) Turn off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Check the flatness of the motor installation plane to ensure that there are no stolen goods, dirt and attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should be larger than the bolt size, so that the bolt can be loosened to adjust the motor;
6) Prepare enough stainless steel gaskets to cover the foot of the motor, the gaskets should not have attachments and should be flat enough. You cannot use long and thin gaskets to insert between the motor and the base for adjustment;
7) Use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (prepared by the customer himself);
8) Prepare the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as shown in the figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is used for mounting a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel hub, and placing a dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adjusting the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, the compressor and the motor center line are basically on the same line (or according to the corresponding instructions), and the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should be higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line), coupling end face 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts, and review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Install the coupling intermediate section after the motor idling test.
3.3.4 After adjusting the "levelness" and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation (or trial operation), loosen the bolts and tighten them again.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high speed rotating component, and any solid or liquid entering impeller will cause irreversible damage to compressor. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected with compressor are clean and meet the requirements of steam corrosion grade of the system. Pipelines that do not meet this condition must be rectified. It is suggested to add solid liquid separation equipment (gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines shall be installed with relevant pipeline accessories according to PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor shall be supported by another bracket, and its weight shall not be supported by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, the stage is set to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the equipment is ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor unit. Utilize threading pipe to skillfully connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it runs discreetly underground. Upon securing the control cabinet in its designated location, meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure complete integration and control.
