3.3.1 For peak efficiency of your Steam Compressor with Overall Base and Guide Vane Adjustment from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, it is imperative to position the compressor integrally on a stable foundation. Strategically place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, expertly crafted to adjust the unit to the precise level needed for optimal functionality.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in a meticulous alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly level, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 carefully selected points. These wedges are custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to your specific needs, ensuring a flawlessly smooth contact surface for balanced force distribution.
The contact surface must be polished to perfection to ensure even contact of the inclined plane. It is crucial that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron remains within the safe limit of 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precise leveling tool to meticulously calibrate the unit's level. Adhere to stringent leveling standards, maintaining the axial level at an impeccable 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring absolute precision.
3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment through these essential steps:
1) Ensure that the main power supply is entirely off to maximize safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision and care;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is clean and devoid of foreign materials;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts to allow for bolt loosening and necessary motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a generous supply of premium stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base. These gaskets must be impeccably flat, free of any attachments, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the provided diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to firmly mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) With deftness and accuracy, adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the outer circle's maximum deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated relative to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should remain between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Complete the process by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for perfect alignment.
12) Once successful motor idling tests are completed, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section to ensure smooth and seamless operation.
3.3.4 After expertly adjusting the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts for secured stability. Following any mechanical or trial operation, it is critical to loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure long-lasting reliability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could irreversibly damage the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines not meeting these standards must be appropriately rectified.Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, is highly recommended before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet for securing the system's integrity.
3.3.6 Begin the installation process by carefully fitting the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. It is of utmost importance that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket. This precaution is essential to safeguard the compressor body from any potential strain caused by undue weight.
3.3.7 With the main fan and all related equipment meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation having reached its full strength and stability, you are now ready to embark on the exhilarating phase of conducting a compressor operation test. This pivotal procedure is crucial to verifying that every component is functioning flawlessly, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor, optimizing accessibility and functionality. Employ a sturdy threading pipe to elegantly connect the compressor's wiring to the electric control cabinet, ensuring an unobtrusive and secure underground routing. With the cabinet firmly in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and dependable control link for seamless operations.
