MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a groundbreaking, energy-conserving technology that significantly slashes the requirement for external energy sources. This is achieved by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle revolves around the highly efficient steam compressor, which compresses the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This compression process masterfully converts electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated, allowing it to be recirculated back into the evaporator to effectively heat materials and induce further evaporation. This entire cycle beautifully accomplishes the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, making it a marvel of modern engineering.

3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure perfect leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is leveled, secure the shims with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. The shims must be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. The contact surfaces should be finely finished to ensure seamless contact of inclined
planes. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to determine accurate leveling. The unit’s leveling standards are: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment. Prior to alignment, ensure the following critical steps are completed:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation surface. It must be free from any debris, dirt, or foreign attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole must be larger than the bolt size, allowing the bolt to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to encompass the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean and perfectly flat. Refrain from using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Use either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which needs to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the dial indicator supporting bracket as illustrated in the diagram below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for attaching a dial indicator to the wheel hub's rim, ensuring the probe accurately gauges the compressor wheel hub's edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet so that the motor and compressor center lines align nearly perfectly. The maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line; coupling end face deviation must be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Upon finalizing adjustments, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Once the motor has undergone a successful idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of 'levelness' and precise casing alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical testing or trial operation, loosen and retighten for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain unobstructed by any solids or liquids, as they can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-conforming pipelines must be rectified.For added protection, it is recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet’s straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. The pipelines, complete with essential accessories as depicted in the PI diagram, must be supported independently by a separate bracket. The weight of the pipelines should never bear upon the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached its full solidity, the stage is set to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures reliability and peak performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure safety and durability, the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet should be channeled underground using threading pipe. Once the cabinet is seamlessly in place, it's imperative to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities.
