3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, expertly used to achieve perfect unit leveling.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is precisely leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons in 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user should custom manufacture and install the wedge to meet exact specifications, ensuring the contact surface is finished to perfection.
The inclined plane must have even contact and the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Attain precision leveling of the unit by using a high-quality level instrument. The axial level must achieve a stringent 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure immaculate coupling alignment. Adhere to the following prerequisites before initiating alignment:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for impeccable flatness, free from foreign debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size, permitting easy loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. Gaskets must be flawless and flat, avoiding long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a precise dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Prepare an adeptly designed bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for accurate placement of a dial indicator on the hub's edge, securing the dial indicator probe on the compressor's wheel hub outer edge;
10) Meticulously adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the outer circle deviation is a maximum of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated above the compressor’s low-speed shaft center.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts and rigorously reviewing both the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section after conducting a thorough motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial, loosen and re-tighten bolts for fortified stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, vigilant measures must be taken to prevent any solid or liquid ingress, which could irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and conform to system steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate immediate rectification. Enhance protection by integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's direct pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all import and export pipelines are equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories as dictated by the PI diagram. The compressor body must not bear the pipeline's weight, which should instead be supported by an alternate bracket.
3.3.7 At the pinnacle of installation precision, once the main fan and all its supplementary equipment are flawlessly positioned and the concrete foundation is fully cured, the stage is set for the compressor's operational debut. This marks the commencement of the rigorous operation test, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of the system.
3.3.8 For stellar performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is securely housed within a threading pipe, ingeniously designed to run underground, enhancing durability and protection. Once the electric control cabinet finds its rightful place, it's imperative to link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless and efficient communication pathway.
