The core principle revolves around the compression of the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, utilizing a highly efficient steam compressor. This transformative process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature allows the steam to return to the evaporator, where it effectively heats materials, instigating further evaporation. This cycle ingeniously recovers and recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, epitomizing efficiency and sustainability in energy usage.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is meticulously crafted to include a robust array of components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base entirely onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect level adjustment.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 key points. These wedges should
be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is smoothly finished for an even contact of the
inclined plane. Note: The wedge iron's load capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to ascertain perfect alignment. Unit leveling criteria: axial level precision at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
level precision at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring steadfast stability.
3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure these preparatory steps:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Ascertain the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, and extraneous materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed bolt dimensions, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets, impeccably covering the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and perfectly fitting—avoid using lengthy, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm (customer's provision);
8) Equip the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement along the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune adjustment bolts encircling the motor feet to ensure the compressor and motor center lines align seamlessly, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should be elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line), and the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts. Conduct a thorough review of the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are meticulously adjusted, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen and then re-tighten these bolts to ensure lasting stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, is sensitive to any solids or liquids, which could inflict irreparable harm. It's imperative to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor, adhering to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be remedied. It's highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the straight pipe at the compressor's entrance.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary pipeline accessories, as depicted in the PI diagram. Furthermore, the pipeline attached to the compressor should be supported by an independent bracket and not rely on the compressor body for weight support.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan alongside its auxiliary equipment, and after ensuring the concrete has fully solidified, the compressor operation test can be seamlessly initiated. This step marks a pivotal phase in confirming that everything is optimally set for the operational excellence of the equipment.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The critical wiring connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be executed via threading pipes, which must be laid underground for enhanced safety and reliability. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly situated, connect its wiring terminals to the lines stationed at the remote DCS, ensuring a streamlined and efficient communication pathway.
