3.3.1 Start by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to precisely adjust the unit's level. These shims should be placed alternately to ensure a steady base.
Ensure that every wedge-shaped iron is spot welded at 4-5 different points after achieving level status. This crucial step guarantees a steadfast structure.
Remember, the manufacturing and installation of the wedge are entirely dependent on the user's specific conditions, ensuring maximum compatibility.
The contact surface must be perfectly finished to maintain even contact with the inclined plane. Notably, the wedge iron must not bear more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to determine the exact flatness of the unit. The axial level should be a precise 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal level maintaining a strict 0.10/1000mm.
This precision ensures optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is aligned perfectly. Before initiating alignment, please confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the primary power source is completely powered off;
2) The coupling shield should be carefully removed;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for easy access;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, and any obstructions;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the size of the bolts, allowing adjustments by loosening them;
6) Assemble adequate stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor base, ensuring they are clean and flat to perfection. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, to achieve perfect alignment (this tool needs to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the specific bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as shown in the provided schematic;
9) Attach the dial indicator to the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, positioning the probe meticulously on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Finely tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle's deviation must not exceed 0.05mm, while maintaining a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts and rigorously reassess any runout on the coupling's outer circle and end face;
12) After the motor's idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to ensure flawless operations.
3.3.4 Upon achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts securely. After any operation or trial, loosen and then retighten these bolts for consistent stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from any solid or liquid impurities to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure all related pipelines are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards.Should pipelines fall short, consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram diligently for installing relevant pipeline accessories. Make sure the connected pipelines are supported by separate brackets, not by the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimum performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius from the compressor. To ensure safety and efficiency, wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be housed within a threading pipe, securely routed underground. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, connect its wiring terminals with the remote DCS lines to achieve a fully functional and streamlined setup.
