3.3.1 Begin the seamless integration of your High Efficiency Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor with Guide Vanes by placing the compressor base integrally on a strong foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precision leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons with spot welds at 4~5 strategic points, ensuring stability and precision.
The user is responsible for fabricating and installing the wedge according to their unique circumstances. Ensure that the contact surface is finished to perfection for even contact of the inclined plane, maintaining optimal bearing capacity.
The wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable alignment by using a level to determine the unit's level. The axial level must be precise at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must meet a stringent 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Perfect the coupling alignment with precision. Prior to commencing alignment procedures, ensure the following essential steps are completed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure complete safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to expose the necessary components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate adjustment;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free of any foreign matter, dirt, or obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing for easy adjustment and loosening to align the motor accurately;
6) Be prepared with an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be pristine, flat, and avoid using long, thin gaskets for insertion between the motor and base.
7) Deploy a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, ready to be utilized by the customer themselves;
8) Assemble the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe delicately placed on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet judiciously, aligning the compressor and motor center line meticulously. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be no more than 0.05mm, and the motor shaft center line should always surpass the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Ensure the coupling end face deviation is a precise 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling for any outer circle runout and end face runout.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for optimal performance.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, secure the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, release and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands protection from any solid or liquid intrusion that might cause irreversible damage. Thus, ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines should be rectified. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram by fitting the necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan along with its ancillary equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to embark on the crucial compressor operation test. This pivotal stage ensures the seamless functioning and efficiency of your setup.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Utilize threading pipes that run underground to connect the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, ensuring a secure and efficient connection. Once the electric control cabinet is in its designated place, carefully connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring an optimal setup for smooth operations.
