3.3.1 Begin the installation by securely positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons for leveling, then spot weld them at 4~5 points to ensure stability and reliability.
The wedge should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for uniform contact of the inclined plane.
Make sure the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm, guaranteeing robust support.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to attain immaculate leveling. The unit's axial level must be a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, with horizontal precision at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by following these critical preparatory steps:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's middle section to proceed with alignment;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for any debris or grime, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) Guarantee the motor bolt holes are generously sized for easy adjustments;
6) Secure ample, pristine stainless steel gaskets for the motor's base. Avoid long, thin gaskets that could hinder precise adjustments;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or laser alignment meter of 0.01mm accuracy, prepared personally;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement at the compressor wheel hub's edge;
10) Skillfully adjust motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, maintaining an outer circle deviation within 0.05mm and coupling end face between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, secure motor foot bolts and revalidate the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for precision;;
12) After ensuring optimal performance with an idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Following operation, loosen and retighten to maintain structural integrity.
3.3.5 Prevent irreversible damage by ensuring the impeller remains free from foreign solids or liquids. Maintain pristine inlet and outlet pipelines, compliant with the steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines that fall short must be promptly rectified.Introduce solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, incorporating essential pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Support these pipelines independently to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete has been given ample time to completely solidify, it's then time to proceed with the rigorous operation test of the compressor. This critical phase ensures that every component is functioning seamlessly.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be securely installed using a threading pipe, ideally running underground for protection and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, it's essential to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration with the system.
