The core of this technology is the transformative process where secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, is compressed using an exceptionally efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is recirculated back to the evaporator, enriching the materials and inducing evaporation. In this way, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is masterfully recycled, showcasing a brilliant approach to energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series single-stage geared steam compressor is a masterpiece of engineering that includes a thoughtfully designed compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, powerful motor, sophisticated electric instrumentation, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. Its design emphasizes a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and efficient performance. This comprehensive system is crafted to deliver reliability and convenience, setting a new standard in steam compression technology.
3.3.1 Position the compressor base seamlessly atop the foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the level of the unit.
Alternate placing two wedge-shaped irons for optimal stability. Upon achieving levelness, apply spot welds to secure the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Users should craft and position the wedges according to specific requirements, ensuring an immaculate finish and even contact on inclined planes.
Note: The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the perfect balance. The axial level precision of the unit is set at 0.05/1000mm,
while the horizontal level precision is maintained at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled alignment.
3.3.3 Ensure precise coupling centering. Before diving into alignment, verify these essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power source to ensure safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield with care.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment.
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for complete cleanliness and absence of debris.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are slightly larger than bolts for adjustable fitting.
6) Amass ample flat stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor base. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for motor adjustments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, supplied by the customer.
8) Arrange a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below.
9) Attach the motor hub mounting bracket, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor hub edge.
10) Adjust motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center line precisely. The acceptable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft slightly elevated.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly and verify the runout accuracy on both the outer circle and the coupling's end face.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idle test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's level and alignment, tighten anchor bolts. Post operations, retighten bolts after loosening them.
3.3.5 The impeller, rotating at high speed, is vulnerable. Any foreign solid or liquid can inflict irreversible harm. Ensure the inlet/outlet pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion standards.Consider adding solid-liquid separation systems like gas scrubbers before the compressor's inlet for reinforced protection.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for accessory placement, and ensure external support for connected pipelines to prevent undue stress on the compressor.
3.3.7 Once the mighty main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are fully installed, and the concrete foundation has reached its peak solidity, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This phase marks a significant milestone in ensuring the seamless functionality of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a critical nerve center for the compressor, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal performance and safety, the wiring should be meticulously connected via threading pipe, which discreetly runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it's crucial to establish a seamless connection between the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring an integrated and efficient control system.
