3.3.1 Position the compressor base securely on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune and achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Strategically alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once leveling precision is attained, apply spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. Please ensure the
manufacture and installation of these wedges is tailored by the user to fit specific requirements, ensuring a perfectly finished contact surface for even distribution of inclined
plane pressures. Note that the wedge iron must not bear a maximum capacity exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ascertain perfect alignment. Unit leveling standards are set as follows: axial level integrity at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal
level accuracy at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling Alignment: Ensure centering precision before initiating any alignment process. Meet the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the primary power supply to ensure safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediary section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for any obstructions, dirt, or foreign materials to maintain flatness;
5) Ensure that motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for loosening during motor adjustments;
6) Stock ample, flat, stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, ensuring they are attachment-free. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for base adjustments;
7) Equip with a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy) for alignment tasks (to be supplied by the customer);
8) Assemble a support bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub's edge. Position the indicator probe at the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately (or as per specific directives), observing a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess both outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediary section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment: Tighten the anchor bolts after refining the casing's 'levelness' and alignment. Post-trial operations, loosen and then re-tighten the bolts to secure.
3.3.5 The impeller is a crucial, high-speed component. Prevent any solid or liquid infiltrations, which can cause irreversible compressor damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and compliant with system steam corrosion specifications. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It is highly recommendedto install solid-liquid separation equipment, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, upstream of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines as per the PI diagram specifications. Ensure these pipelines are supported independently of the compressor body to avoid undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete and the concrete foundation has fully cured, it's time to conduct the much-anticipated compressor operation test. This crucial step will ensure the safe and efficient performance of your High-Performance Compressor with Frequency Conversion for Vanadium Extraction.
3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring should be expertly connected using a threading pipe that runs discreetly underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, the next step is to meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
