3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Post leveling, secure the wedges at 4 to 5 points with spot welding. These wedges should be
custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for even
contact on the inclined plane. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ensure the unit is perfectly aligned. The unit's axial level precision is 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal
level precision is 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless balance.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is crucial. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following steps are strictly followed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure complete safety.
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for clear access.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments, ensuring a pristine surface.
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing bolt loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Stock ample flat stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, without attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustment.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, provided by the customer.
8) Secure the bracket for dial indicator support, as illustrated.
9) The motor wheel hub bracket is essential for dial indicator mounting on the wheel hub edge, placing the probe precisely on the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts meticulously, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with motor shaft center line slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) For final verification, tighten the motor foot bolts and recheck for minimal outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands utmost protection as any solid or liquid infiltration can cause irreversible harm. Guarantee that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. It's advised to incorporatesolid-liquid separation gear (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) prior to the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Execute the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure pipelines are fitted with requisite accessories per the PI diagram, supported independently by a bracket. The compressor must not bear the pipeline's weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all the auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, it's time to embark on the all-important compressor operation test. This step ensures the seamless functionality and efficiency of the compressor system, setting the stage for reliable performance.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring is expertly connected using threading pipes that run underground, offering both protection and seamless integration. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, attentively connect the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating flawless communication and control.
