3.3.1 Begin by gracefully resting the compressor base upon its foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims precisely under the base for seamless leveling.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit stands perfectly level, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding them at 4~5 strategic points.
These wedges are crafted and positioned by the user, tailored to the unique circumstances. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished, ensuring full contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron is crucial and should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain impeccable flatness. The unit’s alignment demands: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level finesse of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling centering. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure these preparatory steps are taken:
1) Ensure the primary power supply is safely turned off.
2) Dismantle the protective coupling shield with care.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section smoothly.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments are present.
5) The motor bolt hole should be generously larger than the bolt, accommodating ease of movement for motor adjustment.
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. These gaskets should be clean, flat, and robust—avoid using elongated or slender ones for in-between adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, sourced by the customer.
8) Equip a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates dial indicator placement on the hub edge, with its probe positioned on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center line meticulously. Allow for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft), with coupling end face precision within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling’s outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with assured confidence.
3.3.4 Subsequent to achieving impeccable 'levelness' and alignment, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel, and any inadvertent introduction of solids or liquids could spell irreversible damage. It’s paramount to ensure that the compressor-connected pipelines are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade of the system. Non-compliant pipelines warrant immediate rectification.Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation devices, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet’s straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for importing and exporting pipelines, ensuring they bear relevant accessories. These pipelines should be independently supported, freeing the compressor body from undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its essential ancillary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete base has achieved full solidification, the thrilling moment arrives to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical phase marks the beginning of the journey towards seamless functionality and performance excellence.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and streamlined operations, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be executed with precision using threading pipes that are carefully routed underground. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, the intricate task of connecting the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet with the remote DCS lines unfolds, ensuring a robust and efficient communication pathway.
