This cutting-edge series is meticulously crafted with a comprehensive compressor body including the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Complemented by a robust coupling, motor, and state-of-the-art electric instrument, the DML series stands as a testament to advanced engineering and superior performance.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to facilitate the precise leveling of the unit. These shims are the cornerstone of stability for the installation.
Use two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welding on the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to ensure stability. These wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by you, the user, tailored to the specific requirements of your setup. Ensure that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for even contact of inclined
planes. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 To achieve precision, utilize a level. The specifications for the unit's leveling are as follows: the axial level should be an exacting 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must be a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling centering with precision. Before beginning the alignment process, ensure the following requirements are met with diligence:
1) Power off the main supply completely;
2) Gently remove the coupling shield;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a clean, smooth surface for optimal performance;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is slightly larger than the bolt size to allow for easy adjustment by loosening the bolt;
6) Gather a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to bolster the motor's foot, ensuring they are free from any contaminants and are impeccably flat for precise adjustment.
Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise the integrity between the motor and base;
8) Have ready the bracket designed to support the dial indicator as depicted in the illustrative guide shown below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe gently resting on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts encircling the motor feet. This alignment ensures the compressor and motor share a harmonious center line, adhering to prescribed instructions, with a maximum deviation of just 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and coupling end face tolerance maintained at a precise 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously verify the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Complete the process by reinstalling the intermediate section of the coupling post an idle test of the motor.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustments to the casing's levelness and alignment, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen, and then retighten the bolts for assured durability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-velocity rotating component, is vulnerable to damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. It is imperative that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor remain pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion standards of the system. Pipelines failing to meet this criterion must be revised promptly. It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard the system's integrity.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Align the import and export pipelines with the relevant pipeline accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, so its weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its associated equipment is complete, and the concrete base has fully cured to ensure stability, you are ready to proceed with the compressor's operational testing. This step is crucial for verifying the integrity and performance of your installation, ensuring that everything functions seamlessly.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal functionality and safety, the electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should utilize threading pipes that run underground, safeguarding the wiring. Once the electric control cabinet is securely placed, the next step involves meticulously connecting the terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a reliable and efficient communication setup.
