MVR, an abbreviation for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a revolutionary energy-saving technology designed to dramatically reduce the need for external energy sources by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This steam is amplified using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. As this process unfolds, both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated. This enhanced steam is then channeled back to the evaporator, where it heats materials, igniting a cycle of evaporation. This sophisticated method ensures the recycling and efficient utilization of the latent heat of vaporization contained within the secondary steam, bolstering sustainability and efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, meticulously designed to include crucial components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and advanced anti-surge control system. Its compact structure does not only save space but also ensures ease of maintenance, making it an ideal choice for seamless integration into various systems.
3.3.1 Place the compressor base securely on the pre-prepared foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, serving to finely adjust the level of the unit.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately; once the unit is perfectly level, spot weld the irons at 4-5 points. Note that the wedge should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is smooth for even distribution of weight across inclined
planes. The load capacity of the wedge should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to establish the unit's horizontal and axial alignment. The axial level precision is set to 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal
level precision is 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
3.3.3 Center the coupling carefully. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for full accessibility;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation surface for cleanliness, ensuring it's free from debris and impurities;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to allow for adjustment;
6) Secure ample flat stainless steel gaskets for the motor base. Avoid using long, thin gaskets which could impede adjustment;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy 0.01mm), sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare the support bracket as illustrated for the dial indicator;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the motor's foot bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor centers. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then verify the runout of the outer circle and end face of the coupling;
12) Once the motor passes the idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment, secure the casing's anchor bolts. Following mechanical operations or testing, loosen and retighten these bolts for optimum security.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speed, and any solid or liquid intrusions can cause severe damage. Ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are thoroughly clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion specifications. Any non-compliant pipelines must be corrected. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet pipeline.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines must be equipped with the necessary accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure external support for these pipelines, as their weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its associated equipment are meticulously installed, and the concrete has completely cured to perfection, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures everything functions seamlessly and upholds the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius from the compressor itself. For optimal safety and organization, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be routed through a threading pipe, securely placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, proceed to connect the wiring terminals inside it with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless and uninterrupted communication channel.
