Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on its foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is level, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points for optimal stability.
These wedges should be custom-fabricated by the user to fit the specific conditions, ensuring full, even contact on inclined surfaces.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the exact level of the unit. The precise leveling requirements are:
The axial level must be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered, following these preliminary steps:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Ensure the motor installation surface is impeccably clean, free from debris or contaminants.
5) The bolt holes for the motor should accommodate larger bolts to allow for precise motor adjustments.
6) Have a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets ready, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat for motor footing.
7) Use a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, for precise measurements (customer-provided).
8) Prepare a support bracket as depicted below for the dial indicator.

9) Utilize a motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor's feet to align the compressor and motor center lines; maintain a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm.

11) Once aligned, secure the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-leveling and alignment, firmly tighten all anchor bolts. If a mechanical operation or trial occurs, retighten the bolts for safety.
3.3.5 Guard the impeller, a high-speed rotating part, against damage by ensuring clean inlet and outlet pipelines that conform to system steam corrosion standards.
Install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Integrate the compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Follow the PI diagram for installing necessary pipeline accessories. Support the pipeline with separate brackets to avoid burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are expertly installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the stage is set for an exhilarating compressor operation test. This milestone marks the culmination of meticulous preparation, promising a powerful and efficient performance that meets the highest industry standards.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and seamless operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be skillfully executed using threading pipes that run discreetly underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure that the wiring terminals within are expertly linked to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control.
