At its core, the MVR principle redefines efficiency: the secondary steam emitted from the evaporator is compressed using a state-of-the-art high energy efficiency steam compressor. This heightened state of steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it plays a pivotal role in heating materials and promoting evaporation. The DM series Single-stage Gear Steam Compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, featuring a sophisticated assembly of essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. It boasts a remarkably compact structure, which not only optimizes space but also greatly simplifies maintenance. This design ensures peak performance and reliability, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications where efficiency and convenience are paramount.
3.3.1 Begin by elegantly positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern, ensuring the unit is level, then delicately spot weld the irons at 4~5 strategic points. The wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by the user to fit the specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is perfected for even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling using a precision level. The unit demands an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Meticulously center the coupling. Prior to alignment, confirm adherence to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Confirm the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) Verify the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves to allow easy adjustment by loosening;
6) Prepare an ample supply of smooth, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets to support the motor. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with superior accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket designed for dial indicator support as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) The motor wheel hub bracket should mount the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Skillfully adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring the outer circle deviates no more than 0.05mm, with the motor shaft slightly higher;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, revisiting the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts to ensure precision.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reassemble the coupling's intermediate section with care.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Once the mechanical operation or trial run is complete, loosen and retighten the bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a sophisticated high-speed component. Prevent entry of solids or liquids to avoid irreversible compressor damage. Ensure pipelines are pristine and meet steam corrosion system standards, rectifying those that fall short.Enhance protection by installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow PI diagram specifications for pipeline accessories. Support pipelines with separate brackets, avoiding undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its complementary equipment have been meticulously installed, and after the concrete has reached complete solidity, it is time to initiate the compressor operation test. This essential step ensures that your system operates with optimum efficiency and reliability.
3.3.8 The installation of the compressor's electric control cabinet should occur strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection journey, from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, requires threading pipe which is to be discreetly laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in position, proceed to harmonize the wiring terminals within the cabinet with the lines extending to the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and superior performance.
