It masterfully reduces the reliance on external energy sources by ingeniously recycling the energy from secondary steam it produces. At its core, the highly efficient process involves the secondary steam generated by the evaporator being intensified through a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This sophisticated mechanism cleverly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, there is a significant increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is then returned to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and inducing evaporation. This remarkable cycle achieves the sustainable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprised of a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. This innovative machine features a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation.
3.3.1 The robust compressor base is seamlessly integrated onto the foundation. Begin by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a precise level adjustment.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons to attain perfect alignment, securing them with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and positioned by the user according to specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for optimal connectivity.
The load-bearing capacity of the wedge irons must not surpass 40Kg/cm2. This guarantees stability and efficiency.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the exact angle. The leveling standards for the unit are stringent: the axial level of the unit should be a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
This meticulous attention ensures superior balance and performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Safeguard the process by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling intermediate segment;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, and additional attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Arm yourself with an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. These gaskets should be pristine and uniformly flat, avoiding thin and long gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, as provided by the customer;
8) Secure the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, with a diagram provided below for reference;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is engineered to affix a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor feet adjustment bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum outer circle deviation is just 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation maintained between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout; ensuring flawless alignment.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving impeccable 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The high-speed impeller, a critical component, must remain pristine. Any solid or liquid intrusion can inflict lasting damage on the compressor. Thus, it is crucial to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring they adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines should be fitted with appropriate accessories as indicated by the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline is supported by an independent bracket, avoiding any burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its supplementary equipment has been expertly installed and the concrete base has reached full solidification, a rigorous operation test of the compressor can be initiated. This ensures optimal functionality and readiness for advanced extraction processes.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and streamlined operation, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be situated no more than 5 meters away from the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be securely established using an underground threading pipe. Once the control cabinet is perfectly positioned, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless operational setup.
