Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To achieve an impeccable installation, integrally position the compressor base on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to finely adjust the unit's level.
Skillfully alternate wedge-shaped irons beneath the base. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Craft and install the wedges considering the unique conditions on-site. Ensure even contact on the inclined plane for optimal stability.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm
2.).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to determine the unit's level. Ensure the axial level is a meticulous 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level achieves 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements are vital for the compressor's optimal performance.

3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling by centering it perfectly. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following protocols:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for clear access;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free of debris and contaminants;
5) The motor's bolt holes must be larger than the bolts for easy loosening and adjustment;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. They must be clean and uniformly flat, avoiding thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, aligning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle, with the motor shaft centerline slightly elevated.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment and 'levelness' are optimized, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten them for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is vulnerable to damage from foreign solids or liquids. Ensure pipelines connecting to the compressor are pristine and meet system steam corrosion specifications.
For pipelines that fall short, rectify them promptly. We recommend incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Follow the PI diagram for accessory installation, and support pipelines independently of the compressor body to prevent undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete and the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test.
