At its core, this revolutionary technology operates on the principle that the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, is skillfully compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, subsequently increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature and pressure allow the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials to induce evaporation. This remarkable process enables the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, bringing new levels of efficiency and sustainability to your operations.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is engineered with precision and sophistication, featuring a state-of-the-art compressor body, robust coupling, durable gearbox, advanced lubrication system, powerful motor, and cutting-edge electric instrumentation. The system is further enhanced with an anti-surge control system, ensuring optimal performance and safety. 3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to expertly adjust the unit to a perfect level.
Alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is flawlessly leveled, meticulously spot weld the wedges at 4-5 strategic points for optimal stability.
The wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to their specific setup. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for even distribution of weight across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must be strictly maintained at no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's axial level must be a precise 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level a perfect 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before commencing alignment, ensure these critical prerequisites are in place:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for unhindered access;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) The motor bolt holes should be generously sized to allow easy bolt loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor foot, ensuring they are free from any impediments and are perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with a precision of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket for supporting the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, carefully placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center is aligned above the compressor's low-speed shaft center, with a coupling face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Firmly secure the motor foot bolts and double-check the outer circle and coupling end face runout for precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's level and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts securely. Post mechanical or trial operations, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component. To prevent irreversible damage, ensure no solid or liquid enters. It's paramount that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and meet steam corrosion standards. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines immediately.Consider adding solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor inlet to safeguard against impurities.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Support the connected pipelines with separate brackets, ensuring no additional weight burdens the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are installed, and the concrete has fully solidified, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This pivotal step is crucial in ensuring the flawless performance of the compressor system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet is achieved through underground threaded pipes, ensuring seamless integration. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, it's essential to establish a connection between the wiring terminals in the cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS, thereby ensuring optimal functionality.
