3.3.1 Begin the installation by positioning the compressor base securely onto its foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling adjustment. The alternating placement of two wedge-shaped irons ensures stability. Once the unit is perfectly level, affix the wedge-shaped irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points, solidifying their position.
Please note that the responsibility for manufacturing and installing these wedges lies with the user. They should be tailored to the specific circumstances, ensuring the contact surfaces are smooth for an even connection with inclined planes. The load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Achieve meticulous leveling by employing a level. The precision requirements are exacting: the axial level must be 0.05 per 1000mm, while the horizontal plane should maintain a 0.10 per 1000mm accuracy.
3.3.3 Properly center the coupling before commencing the alignment procedure. Ensure the following prerequisites are completed:
1) Ensure absolute safety by switching off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Take out the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, confirming the absence of foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts themselves, allowing freedom to loosen and adjust the motor as necessary;
6) Ample stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to adequately support the motor feet. These gaskets must be pristine and flat to ensure uniform contact. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm. This precision instrument is to be sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the dial indicator probe rests on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to ensure that the compressor and motor center lines align almost perfectly, or follow specific instructions provided. The maximum allowable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, maintaining the motor shaft center line slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. The acceptable coupling end face deviation ranges from 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout for any deviations in the coupling;
12) Conclude the alignment process by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section subsequent to a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once both the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are satisfactorily adjusted, proceed to firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After conducting a mechanical operation or a trial run, it is crucial to loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, must remain free of any solid or liquid intrusion that could inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. It is imperative to maintain the cleanliness and compliance of all pipelines connected to the compressor with the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must undergo corrective actions. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the incorporation of all relevant pipeline accessories, as outlined in the PI diagram. Additional support must be provided for the pipeline connected to the compressor, as its weight must not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the majestic main fan and its indispensable ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, you're all set to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures that all components are perfectly aligned and ready to deliver their optimal performance.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically placed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. For seamless connectivity, threading pipes should be utilized for wiring, with a preference for underground routing. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, ensure that the wiring terminals are flawlessly integrated with the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a harmonious and efficient power and control system.
